The Vienna Proms * Fairfield Concert Hall, Croydon
The Vienna Proms is based closely on the wonderful ‘summer night’ concerts given in Vienna. This is a full programme of the ever popular melodies of Strauss and other great Austrian composers of the ‘Romantic’ period. The concert opens with Die Fledermaus and features a host of famous Strauss Waltzes and Polkas including The Blue Danube.

The band was formed in 1997, after Donna and David discovered they were both working in the same bookshop in Guildford (don't go looking for it, it's not there anymore - nothing to do with us...). Rupert, having played bass in bands with Donna already, was introduced to David. Having discovered that we all had similar tastes in music (Floyd, Zeppelin, the who etc), we have managed to hone these influences into our own sound.
